As the first pure portable headphone amplifier product of Luxpy, EA4 has received a lot of feedback from users since its release, and the most popular accessory is the leather case. First of all, let us say sorry. In order to take into account the structural stability/durability, heat dissipation (without affecting the performance release) and the compatibility when bundled with different players, we have made many revisions and proofing. We originally had samples last month, but we actually made some minor adjustments. Now we can finally announce that the handmade exclusive leather case designed for EA4 is officially available.

As a “giant” product in the portable category, EA4 is large in size and heavy in weight, so the leather case needs to be strong enough to provide basic protection, and as light as possible without adding extra burden. The power of EA4 32Ω 6800mW is one of the highest thrusts in portable products. The extremely high output power will inevitably cause high heat generation, so the leather case must also have good heat dissipation.
We have designed a heat dissipation groove on the EA4 case, and on the custom leather case, we chose carbon fiber as the embedded support layer of the leather case, taking full advantage of its good heat dissipation performance. At the same time, it has high hardness and low specific gravity. After experimenting with carbon fiber boards of various thicknesses such as 0.6mm, 0.8mm, and 1.0mm, we finally chose a 1.0mm thick carbon fiber board to be embedded in the leather case.
