Description
FiiO welcomes its all-new flagship planar magnetic open-back driver headphones, the FiiO FT7. FT7 comes equipped with FiiO’s self-developed large 106mm planar magnetic driver. It adopts FiiO’s patented gold and silver precious metal multi-coating technology. After two years of extensive research, FiiO has developed an ultra-thin 1 μm special diaphragm film for this driver unit. The headphones have a natural zebra wood open-back grill with a natural and exquisite textured finish. Using a finite element analysis(FEA) simulation process, FiiO has developed a high-power uniform magnetic structure with 18 N52 magnets and α-iron magnets with a magnetic flux of up to 1.5T. FiiO FT7 features exquisite build quality; the headphones have a lightweight, robust carbon-fibre material headband. It contrasts well with the Natural Zebra wood grills on the ear cups. FiiO bundles the FT7 with a high-purity liquid nitrogen frozen single-crystal copper wire. Patented Gold+Silver Precious Material Multi-Layer Coating
In order to deliver exceptional sonic excellence, FiiO has featured a patented multi-layer coating on the driver. They have actually applied layers of 24K gold and pure silver to the driver coil, which not only enhances the sonic performance but also enhances the durability of the driver. Gold coating improves the damping of the diaphragm material, ensuring charming low frequencies, and silver material coating improves the high-frequency response with enhanced clarity and pure tonality.
Specially Developed Large-Size Planar Magnetic Driver
FiiO FT7 employs a large-sized self-developed 106mm planar magnetic driver on each side. It has been designed to deliver an enhanced sound response with ultra-low distortion. After extensive research by a professional team of acoustic engineers, FiiO has officially designed this 106mm driver unit for true high-fidelity audio reproduction. This driver adopts an ultra-thin 1um(1 micron) diaphragm. It enables thick, rapid movement, ensuring faster transients, reduced distortion, and enhanced detail retrieval.
Powerful Magnetic Architecture
The main power of FT7’s 106mm large-sized planar magnetic driver comes from its extensively designed magnetic setup. The pair features eighteen high-performance N52 α magnets, which create a smooth, uniform, high-power magnetic field reaching up to 1.5T in capacity. It minimises distortion and maximises the driver’s efficiency.
Exquisite, Premium Build Quality
FiiO FT7 has a premium and exquisite build quality that gives the headphone a lovely visual appeal. It features a lightweight and robust carbon-fibre headband with a natural zebra wood grille and lambskin and suede ear pads. The headphone weighs just 427 grams, so it brings you great sound with excellent comfort.
Liquid-Nitrogen Frozen High-Purity Stock Cable
In order to ensure maximum signal purity and conductivity, FiiO bundles the FT7 with a premium-designed cable. It features liquid-nitrogen frozen 6N single-crystal copper wire cores. After liquid nitrogen cryogenic treatment, the cable is kept at an ultra-low temperature environment of -192°C for seven days. This method eliminates the internal stress of metal materials and improves the signal conductivity. This cable adopts dual 3.5mm connectors on the headphone side and a 4.4mm balanced plug. FiiO bundles 4.4mm to 4-pin XLR and 4.4mm to 6.35mm adapters in the package.
