Minimal Design, Immersive Sound. Lumina III takes note of Sonus faber’s core designs and technologies, packaged in a slender floorstanding speaker.
Lumina III is a compact floorstanding speaker, the perfect choice for any mid-sized room. Lumina III provides broad frequency response, a gorgeous dynamic impact, and a beautiful midrange presentation.
The 5” midrange stems from sister designs in the Sonetto collection. It features our proprietary natural fiber and paper blend air-dried diaphragm that delivers Sonus faber’s signature Natural Sound.
The 5’’ woofers were designed from the scratch specifically for this line. They feature a paper pulp cone for a perfect sonic coherence with the rest for the drivers.
The iconic D.A.D. (Damped Apex Dome) tweeter, the same used in the Sonetto Collection, features a Kurtmueller hand coated soft silk diaphragm of 29mm. The chrome rings around the drivers highlight their shapes and proportions and give brightness to the front baffle.
The reflex port, placed at the base in a down-firing position, provides versatility in speaker placement. This sound solution makes Lumina III speakers significantly less sensitive to their placement, delivering superb sound even when placed close to a back wall.
