4-channel differential circuit design
Fully-Balanced Discrete Pure Class A Headphone Amplification

Utilizes a four-channel discrete pure Class A input buffer amplification circuit. Incorporating Ti low-noise mono Op- Amp, each channel consists of two Toshiba audio grade JFET connected in parallel with a constant current source.
This design ensures lower noise and lower distortion, as well as a higher current and stronger driving ability.
A pair of Vishay power MOSFET to conduct three-stages large bias current pure Class A amplification.
DC offset voltage servo circuit to maintain a stable output DC offset voltage of OV.
Built-in adaptive power, gain, and quiescent current switching circuits to enhance overall performance and deliver an exceptional listening experience.



The Ultimate Hyper Mode

Hyper Mode delivers the maximum possible performance of the headphone amplification circuit. To make this happen, we have made further adjustments and improvements to the static operating current and operating voltage in the Class A state

The output power and gain have been increased while preserving the pure Class A state. This refinement brings forth a more pristine and transparent sound, with a well-defined and dynamic soundstage.

Peace of Mind by Intimate Protection & Power

A monolithic Protector IC safeguards the amplifier by performing output DC detection, power-on delay squelch, power-off noise cancellation, and overcurrent/overload protection. Protect the power amplifier circuit and headphones from power-on to power-off, and every step in between.

  • BYV79E ultra-fast recovery rectifier diodes

The headphone amplifier circuit is powered by a four-channel high-dynamic high-current discrete linear voltage stabilizing circuit. The voltage amplification and HeadAmp output stage are independently powered.
A secondary enhanced voltage stabilizing circuit is specially designed for the JFET input buffer amplifier circuit, volume controller, and other audio circuits.



Volume Control with Precision

The volume control circuit features an ALPS customized step potentiometer combined with a pair of high-end 130-step electronic volume chips JRC MUSES72320V.

While the volume is controlled electronically, the volume is adjusted purely in the analogue domain. This meticulous design enables a delicate feel and ensures stable and highly precise volume control.

The left and right side panels are designed as ridged heat sinks.
The extra surface area enhances heat exchanges and improves heat dissipation capacity.
The optimized operation condition allows the DAC to deliver its best performance.
