IBUKI features a Grade 5 Titanium (Ti-6Al-4V) shell with PVD coating, 9 precision drivers with a 5-way passive crossover network, and has been developed to deliver optimal performance when paired with our portable headphone amplifier WATATSUMI. Each unit comes with the “BSEP for IBUKI” — an ultimate-grade cable tuned exclusively for IBUKI.
Adopting the ear hanger design from FUGAKU, the IBUKI features flexible TPE ear hangers reinforced with stainless steel wire. These prevent the earphones from shifting or rotating due to cable weight or tension, ensuring a stable fit during listening.
The angle and curvature can be freely adjusted by hand.
The housing is made from Grade 5 Titanium (Ti-6Al-4V), known for its exceptional strength and hardness. This minimises unwanted resonance and distortion, delivering clear, fast, and tight bass along with extended, smooth highs.
A PVD charcoal black coating is applied to the surface to reduce fine scratches from daily use while providing a smooth, skin-friendly texture.
The IBUKI uses the OFC version of Nippon Dics’ Pentaconn Ear connector. Its low contact resistance minimises signal loss, while the robust design ensures durability even with repeated cable swaps.
It also prevents loosening and signal degradation issues commonly associated with 2-pin connectors.
An 8mm Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) diaphragm dynamic driver, known for its strong bass performance in FUGAKU, is used for low frequencies.
This driver has been upgraded to Version 2 and specifically tuned for IBUKI.
Two dynamic drivers are mounted face-to-face within a gold-plated OFC ring chamber.
This isobaric configuration distributes load between the drivers and allows them to correct each other’s movement, producing dense yet controlled bass with reduced pressure and enhanced immersion.
Five carefully selected balanced armature (BA) drivers across three types are integrated using a proprietary crossover network.
This setup accurately reproduces delicate vocal nuances and harmonic details while maintaining excellent transient response for clear note separation. Harsh sibilance is suppressed for a smoother presentation.
Dual electrostatic (EST) drivers handle ultra-high frequencies, expanding soundstage width, airiness, and realism.
Brise Audio applies its proprietary HCNT (High-Grade CNT) and specialised electromagnetic wave-absorbing materials to driver units and EST transformers.
These materials reduce external noise and inter-driver interference, improving separation and clarity.
Additionally, felt damping material behind the dynamic drivers absorbs internal reflections, ensuring optimal driver performance.
A 3D-printed integrated structure combines sound from multiple drivers using tubes of varying diameters and lengths.
This ensures seamless tonal blending, making the multi-driver configuration sound coherent and natural.
A high-precision 5-way passive crossover is used to balance output across all drivers while maintaining signal clarity.
It utilises temperature-stable thin-film resistors and high-quality film capacitors for accurate and consistent performance.
Brise Audio applies its proprietary HCNT (High-Grade CNT) and specialised electromagnetic wave-absorbing materials to driver units and EST transformers.
These materials reduce external noise and inter-driver interference, improving separation and clarity.

The IBUKI comes with the “BSEP for IBUKI” cable, specially tuned for this model.
It uses a Quad Spiral structure based on AKAGANE-35 conductors, combined with HCNT and multiple shielding materials to achieve both power and delicacy.
The cable also features newly designed Grade 5 Titanium hardware and Brise Audio’s proprietary copper-alloy plug, perfectly matching the earphone design.
