We apply the Darwin architecture, the winner of endless accolades in the high-end DAP arena, for the first time in a portable headphone DAC/amp, utilizing R2R design for the DAC, ensuring a sound with emotion, warm, wet with loose naturalness, at the same time preserving the FIR filtering and NOS/OS switch etc. of the Darwin system for maximum flexibility.
OS mode
Oversampling mode easily removes aliasing artefacts via the tried and true combination of oversampling and ultrasonic low pass filter, HDR, and NOS/OS mode switch, yielding superior measured performance: enables all functions of the Darwin architecture, realizes personalized adjustments of sound signature, adapting to different earphones
NOS mode
NOS mode is non-oversampling. Responding more immediately and directly to signals, converting the digital signals to analogue output directly, bringing a more analogue sound signature. It is more suitable for music files/streams of 192kHz sample rate or above.
