Introducing Noble Audio’s latest flagship IEM, Onyx. Boasting an impressive assembly of eight cutting-edge multi-technology drivers including Sonion electrostats, Knowles BA drivers, custom 10mm dynamic, and a PZT bone conductor, the onyx is a symphony of precision, power, and clarity.
A custom 10mm dynamic driver provides a powerful and controlled bass response, and the ante-chamber design ensures a visceral bass experience.
Mids and highs are flawlessly rendered by four Knowles BA drivers. Dual Sonion electrostatic drivers combined with a PZT bone conductor provide a spacious and immersive soundstage that captures the essence of every note with precision.
Bone Conductor
The PZT bone conductor is attached to the housing, thus leading vibration to the housing and to the inner ear through bones rather than the eardrum. The vibration through the eardrum from DD and BA as well as the vibration through the bones will heighten the atmosphere.
Dynamic
Customized 10mm dynamic driver for Onyx. It has an ante-chamber to reduce the mid and high of the dynamic to get the best bass out of it.
BA ā
The individual BAs have a rear chamber hole to improve the sensitivity to get a higher resolution. Bigger tubes are applied on the ante-chamber of the BAs for high frequency. In that case, the sound of the high frequency could be kept well through the tubes rather than reduced through small tubes.
EST ā
The sonion EST can reach high to 70kHz. It is beyond the frequency that people can hear. But it does not mean that one can not feel it. One can experience the rich details in ultra-high through it. This is not something that ends at 20kHz can provide.
