The pre-sale orders come with a (‘MAKE MUSIC MORE MUSICAL’) doodle-style strap, randomly coloured and available in limited quantities until supplies last.
Background Story
R4’s unique design language hails from such elements as cyberpunk, mecha, and space opera. Clear-cut powerful geometric lines cross to form the silhouette of a living, breathing audio machine, with the offset hatch design on the back adding to the motif of a retro classic set in the distant future.
DESIGN CONCEPT
A sturdy lanyard lug coupled with the graffiti-designed lanyard makes for a striking appearance as well as practical usability in outdoor / active scenarios–the quest for an appealing, youthful outlook follows practical considerations to yield a form that is at once instantly recognizable and suitable for a wide audience.

Utilizing widely acclaimed class-A amplification throughout, the amplifier is composed of four OPA1652, 2 OPA1612 and 16 triodes, and has zero crossover distortion for instant transient response; output scales up to 525mW/322, and distortion can be as little as 0.0005%, yielding a fine sense of power from music as well as exquisite detail. laminated into a single unit: two layers of spread carbon fibre, with a layer of aramid honeycomb spacers in between.
