The Origin of the Name
Inspired by Norse mythology, Gungnir takes its name from Odin’s spear, standing for precision, powerful drive capability, and uncompromised signal accuracy.
Design Philosophy
Gungnir translates full-scale audio architecture into a compact desktop form, following Lotoo’s core engineering principles:

Dual-Core DAC Architecture
Gungnir adopts a dual AK4499 + AK4191 DAC topology, operating in full-performance balanced differential mode.
Supports high-bit-rate PCM and native DSD playback, preserving details, dynamics, and fine layering.
Distinct Internal Architecture
Gungnir is built with physical separation of power, digital, and analog domains, supported by dedicated analog power supplies and discrete analog circuit modules to deliver high channel separation and signal integrity.
The balanced headphone output delivers up to 8000mW per channel (@320) with 4-step gain control. It supports high current and high voltage output, maintaining low distortion across the full frequency band and stable performance under large dynamic loads.
LCC, PMEQ II and ATE Enhanced Sound System
Gungnir integrates Lotoo’s proprietary LCC (Load Capacitance Compensation) for headphone load matching, along with ATE (Acoustic Transient Enhancement filter algorithm) and PMEQ II (2nd-Gen Parametric EQ), forming a complete system-level sound tuning solution from hardware compensation to digital signal shaping.
Optional 160W Hi-Fi USB PD Power Base *
The optional LPX-01 160W USB PD Power Base is purpose-built for audio systems, delivering clean and stable power with an ultra-low noise floor of 200μν (20Hz-40kHz), enclosed in a fully shielded all-metal chassis with multi-layer circuit protection.

LTTP Lossless Wireless Streaming
Gungnir supports the LTTP wireless protocol, powered by Adaptive Bandwidth Management and High-Precision Clock Control for stable, bit-accurate streaming. It handles up to 96kHz/24-bit Hi-Res audio and up to 48kHz/24-bit true lossless streaming. Playback stays native, with no SRC conversion required. Built-in data verification ensures bit-perfect consistency.
Physical Controls in a Modern Tactile Interface
Sungnir features fully physical mechanical buttons and rotary controls, aired with a solid metal build and ergonomic layout. It restores the rounded, tactile feel of classic audio gear while keeping the clean ogic and simplicity of modern devices.
