Cayin and UM engineers collaborated extensively, conducting professional
testing and subjective blind listening sessions to jointly finalize the EM’s
sound tuning.

Frequency Shift Technology

The FreqShift piezoelectric bone conduction driver is the newest innova-
tion developed by UM specifically for the human auditory frequency
range. Unlike dual-side bone conduction(dBCs) and coil-type bone con-
duction, it places greater emphasis on the stability and rhythmic qualities
of vibrations. To ensure unit performance, we used a high-temperature re-
sistant conductive palladium, along with a pure copper supporting panel
to cover the ceramic layers from both sides. By adjusting the internal
structure design of the chamber, the performance of the bone conduction
driver has been optimized, resulting in enhanced stability of performance
and a more comfortable tactile vibration sensation.

The FreqShift piezoelectric bone conduction unit is enhanced with Fre-
quency Shift technology, allowing the overall sound of Amber Pearl to
reach a new level of transparency, expansiveness, and richness, achiev-
ing a brand-new balanced state.

The human auditory frequency range is typically 20-20,000Hz, with lower sensitivity to sounds below 20Hz and above 20kHz.

Frequency Shift technology shifts the resonant point of the device to within the range of 20hz to 20kHz, resulting in a certain degree of sensitivity enhancement within the original application environment.

This optimization enhances the harmonic sound within the 20-20,000Hz range.

With 15 drivers per side, the Amber Pearl adopts a 6-way crossover design,
making sure the drivers in each frequency bands will operate independently
Rigorous testing and measurement to refine the crossover, making sure the
drivers will not bleed into adjacent frequency bands.

Deliver high resolution with dense and reality while retaining excellent detail
retrieval and clarity in the audio.

4 Conductors Individual Shielding

The cable of Amber Pearl is custom-made, newly designed by PWAudio.
The conductor is 6N OCC (Ohno Continuous Cast) copper, with a wire gauge of
26AWG.

Each of the four conductors is independently shielded. When connect the
shielding layer of each conductor to the ground pole of the TRRRS conector, it
become a perfect fit for the 4.4mm connection of N3OLE.
Individual shielding reduces interference from internal and external sources, it
will improved background darkness and enhance resolution.

The ear shell of Amber Pearl is meticulously crafted through a very
complex processes including vacuum extraction, resin injection
molding and curing, and precision CNC machining with coloration.

The IEM shell is refreshing and bright, exuding a sophisticated texture.

The amber orange color represents strength, wisdom and sparkling. It
also embodies Cayin’s philosophy to continuous progress and push the
envelope whenever possible.
