Harnessing The Full Potential of The Dual ES9219C
The DC06PRO has made significant advancements in the utilization of the ES9219C DAC chips thanks to thorough research, development, rigorous testing, and attentive listening sessions. Despite utilizing more expensive components, we have managed to maintain an exceptionally affordable price without making any compromises. Through the implementation of dual DAC chips, we have achieved a remarkable increase in power output relative to its compact size, while simultaneously minimizing the noise floor.
The power consumption of the new generation ESS DAC has an excellent ratio to the power output. The sound quality remains uncompromised, providing a rich and authentic audio experience that can be enjoyed on a daily basis.
The DC06PRO incorporates advanced technology to create a separate power supply for the AMP section. This includes a synchronous DC-DC converter, a low-noise charge pump chip, and an LDO. These implementations enable the AMP section to operate at its maximum capacity without any interference from the digital section. This enhances the dynamics, bass impact, and overall transparency of the sound.
The DC06PRO utilizes our in-house developed FPGA algorithm. Achieving an impressively low jitter is made possible through the utilization of the NDK femtosecond oscillator, resulting in minimal distortion and a notable enhancement in the quality of the musical sound.
The DC06PRO case’s CNC milling is made of high-grade aluminium alloy. An open volume control feature implements several complex steps during CNC machining, resulting in extremely functional and visually appealing products. The tempered hardened glass panels’ overall effect, in combination with the precise CNC case machining, is both aesthetic and quality-enhancing.
The DC06PRO uses the USB-C and can be used with a number of cable types. A USB A for the USB-C cable converter is also provided allowing for use with most Android devices. A Lightning cable can also be used with the DC06PRO, which can be bought separately.
The DC06PRO has hardware for rendering MQA. For the process, the software unfolds 2 times and the on-board hardware of the DAC unfolds a further 8 times. Our software is certified, which means you can plug and play to decode and enjoy your MQA files to their full potential.
The DC06PRO is plug-and-play on Android Smartphones and tablets with Android 5.1 and above without installing drivers or third-party APPs (due to the Android device’s system or hardware limitation, there may be a low compatibility issue with some smartphones or tablets). On some Android devices, it may be necessary to turn on the OTG function in the system settings manually. To obtain more settings, we highly recommend you install the iBasso UAC APP when using Android devices.
The DC06PRO is plug-and-play on Mac and Win10 computers. For WinXP, Win7, and Win8 systems, please download the driver from our website www.iBasso.comunder Downloads. Once properly installed, the DC06PRO can be used as a USB sound card.
iPhone’s volume control is only 16 steps. DC06PRO can achieve 100 steps of adjustment with the volume button. Therefore, using the DCO6PRO with an iPhone will achieve finer volume adjustments.
